HARTFORD-New York-based Wonder Works Construction and Development has purchased the former Clarion Hotel, which has been vacant for nearly 15 years on Constitution Plaza. The developer has plans to convert the 12-story hotel, previously known as the Summit and the Sonesta, into apartments.
Since 1995, the hotel has been in the hands of the Maharishi Global Development Fund, who paid $1.5 million for the hotel. The developer will convert the former hotel guest rooms into one-bedroom apartments. For the full story, go to Hartford Courant.
