NEW YORK CITY-The Buckingham Hotel situated near Central Park is shutting down for a major renovation. The 82 year-old hotel situated on West 57th Street will undergo improvements for two years.

A partnership, including Danny Errico, has bought the Buckingham from the Shapiro family in 2006. In July, the partnership sold the property to UBS Realty Investors for $60 million. The hotel is being currently managed by Denihan Hospitality Group. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business.
