Voorhies

IRVINE, CA-Talle Voorhies, the former president of Grubb & Ellis Transfer Agent LLC, has joined TNP Securities in the newly created position of president and chief operating officer. As president of Grubb & Ellis Transfer Agent LLC, Voorhies, who has worked with Thompson National Properties founder Tony Thompson for 22 years, was responsible for all areas of investor relations for 57,000 investors through 166 active investment programs.

Voorhies is one of two top-level management new-hires at Thompson National Properties recently. The other is Christian “Gabe” Gabrielsen, who has joined the company as executive vice president, national sales manager.

Voorhies was also executive vice president, a founding shareholder, director and executive committee member of Grubb & Ellis Realty Investors LLC (formerly Triple Net Properties LLC), executive vice president of Grubb & Ellis Realty Advisors LLC and executive vice president of Grubb & Ellis Securities (formerly NNN Capital Corp.).

Gabrielsen

Voorhies steps into her new role at a time when Irvine-based Thompson National Properties, which was founded in April 2008, has grown to seven regional offices and manages a portfolio of 133 commercial properties, in 30 states, totaling more than 20.1 million square feet, on behalf of over 4,000 investor/owners with an overall purchase value of $2.5 billion dollars.

TNP has expanded its operations to the Middle East to provide valuation and advisory services on over 2.3 million square feet of real estate in Saudi Arabia. The company offers investment programs designed for both institutional and high-net- worth individual investors.

Gabrielsen joins TNP from his previous position as national sales manager at Knight Capital/Clearbrook Financial. He had a similar role at Lincoln Financial, where he developed a marketing strategy that tripled sales, created over 10,000 new producers and grew market share from unranked to number one in the variable annuity industry, Thompson noted.

Thompson cited Gabrielson's “leadership and experience in driving market share, developing sales strategies and building relationships in the broker-dealer community," experience that "will continue TNP’s growth, particularly in the REIT space,” the TNP founder said.
