WASHINGTON, DC-Freddie Mac has said that the average value for 30-year fixed loans has increased from 4.80% to 4.81% this week. The average value for 15-year fixed mortgages has dropped from 4.09% to 4.08%.

The increase in bond yields has made the 30-year fixed mortgage to edge up. The average value for five-year adjustable-rate mortgages dropped from 3.70% to 3.69% and that of one-year adjustable-rate housing loans remained steady at 3.26%. For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times.
