CHICAGO-PNC Bank, a lender, has filed a suit to collect about $3.1 million from a venture supported by Daniel and David Plote, the developers of River Park Place. The lender is suing the Plotes and Kurt Kresmery of Plote Homes LLC over the Elgin construction loan.
According to the complaint, the developers have failed to settle a loan that financed the development of a 176-unit residential project at Prairie Street and South Grove Avenue along the Fox River. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
