CHICAGO-Ted Mazola is fighting in the court with the Illinois Medical District and his lender over a 27,000-square-foot office building situated on the Near West Side. According to a charge filed by Leaders Bank, a venture headed by Mazola has not made a monthly payment on a loan of $1 million on 1300 S. Paulina St. since April

The amount payable on the loan is $851,000. The suit, filed in Cook County Circuit Court, seeks to regain money from the Mazola venture.For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
