HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL-Robin Realty & Management Co.'s Golf Center, a 168,098-square-foot shopping center located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, is facing a $7.6 million foreclosure lawsuit filed by Miami-based LNR Partners LLC. The lease expiry of the 28,000-square-foot Michaels store in January 2010 led the debacle.
The Chicago-based company has stopped paying monthly loan repayments for an $8.2 million loan since May 2010. LNR Partners filed the lawsuit on behalf of the CMBS investors who acquired the loan along with others.For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
