TUSTIN, CA- The County Planning Commission has given preliminary approval to a senior housing project on Newport Boulevard on county land close to Tustin. The project sits on a seven-acre site and comprises a two-floor tower with 138 apartments, a medical care facility and a dining hall.

The plan also includes 19 freestanding houses. The Diocese of Orange is the owner of the site. The developer must get final approval from the Board of Supervisors.For the full story, go to Orange County Business Journal.
