NEW YORK CITY-Grid Properties Inc., developer of Harlem USA retail and entertainment complex, is planning to build a three-floor commercial tower on a former jazz club site close to The Apollo Theater Foundation.
Grid is in discussion with Apollo to sell the third floor of the proposed project and negotiating with retailers to lease the remaining space. Apollo is expecting to raise $12 million to finance the project. The Harlem Commonwealth Council is the owner of the project site.For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
