TYSONS CORNER, VA-Cityline Partners has filed an application with Fairfax County to rezone 40 acres of land here into a mixed-use office, residential, hotel and retail project. The property, formerly known as Westgage Office Park, would be rezoned into a project totaling 8.5 million square feet. It would be linked by a pedestrian bridge to the Tysons East Metro station and built around the Scotts Run Stream Valley Park, which runs through the southern portion of the site and borders the northern portion.

The holdings are part of the land DLJ RECP acquired last year, consisting of some 114 acres and 22 existing buildings. The company formed Cityline Partners to manage and develop the portfolio. It has pruned some of the properties, selling them off, and is now proceeding with the redevelopment of the rest of the acreage.

The plan filed with the county is subject to change--namely redevelopment will proceed based on market conditions and demand, Cityline Partners executive vice president Donna Shafer said in a prepared statement. She did not return a call to GlobeSt.com in time for publication.
