BOLINGBROOK, IL-Colony Realty Partners LLC has sold 740 ProLogis Pkwy. here to LaSalle Investment Management for $30.2 million. The 805,912-square-foot industrial building is fully leased by the Kimberly Clark Corp.

Steven Disse with Colliers International says this deal is the largest single-building sale in the suburban Chicago market in three years. He tells GlobeSt.com that his client, Colony, wanted to sell the property because the tenant only has less than three years left on its lease from 2006.

As for suburban Chicago, Disse says there has been more activity in the past six months, though it’s mostly investors chasing high-quality properties. “The rest of the market is slow, though the fact that there won’t be any development for awhile should strengthen the market,” he says. Jeffrey Devine and Jeffrey Kahan assisted Disse on the deal.

CHICAGO-EnV Chicago, built by Lynd Development Partners, has been awarded LEED certification established by the U.S. Green Building Council and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute. The building is a 29-story residential and mixed-use high-rise located in the River North neighborhood of downtown Chicago. The building was completed in September 2010 and features 249 luxury apartment homes and 25,000 square feet of retail and showroom space. EnV achieved LEED certification for use of recycled and low VOC materials during construction, energy efficient heating and cooling systems, high efficiency lighting, comprehensive recycling programs, a no-smoking policy, proximity to public transportation, and the incorporation of green landscaping and several green roof spaces, in addition to a variety of other sustainable strategies.

CHICAGO-Cushman & Wakefield of Illinois Inc. has been awarded the leasing agency for the Harris Bank Complex located at 115 S. LaSalle St. and 111 W. Monroe St. in downtown. The complex totals more than 1.2 million square feet of office space. NOP HB Building LLC, a joint venture of CommonWealth Partners LLC and CalPERS, owns both buildings.

CHICAGO-Sperry Van Ness has completed the retail leasing assignment for the ground floor portion of the property at 1255 S. State, known as Vision on State.
