BOSTON-Boston-based The Davis Cos. has purchased the Ferncroft Corporate Center, a 226,338-square-foot office park in Middleton, for $15.3 million. Last year, the troubled office property went into foreclosure after Behringer Harvard Opportunity REIT I, the property's prior owner, failed to repay an $18-million mortgage on the property.
Behringer Harvard bought the office site in mid 2006 for $27 million. Since 2010, Behringer Harvard was functioning under LNR Partners, the special loan servicer of the property.For the full story, go to Boston Business Journal.
