LOS ANGELES-UGL Services has named former SVPs Josef Farrar and David Kluth as EVPs in its Downtown office and has promoted four others in the company’s Downtown and West Los Angeles offices. The others and their new titles are Nathan Piehl in West Los Angeles, SVP; Ryan Harding to VP and Michael Gold to assistant VP in the Downtown office; Brett Racanelli in West L.A., VP.
Farrar, commenting on the promotions in an announcement from UGL, noted that the company’s Southern California region has grown to nearly 35 brokers in less than four years, thanks to the work of its leaders in California as well as support from its US headquarters in Chicago and global headquarters in Australia. The promotions “speak to the vision of the company to grow and build a world-class conflict-free corporate services platform,” Farrar said.

Kluth
Kluth added that he and Farrar “continue to add top talent to our Downtown Los Angeles office” as UGL competes for tenant rep projects in the greater Los Angeles area as well as nationally. UGL Services’ California operations have tripled in size and scope with the opening of its Orange County office in 2009, as well as the recent transformation of its Bay Area operations now led by Eric Danielson, noted Kluth. “As a UGL Limited company, the last five years have brought about tremendous evolution and expansion of our full-service platform, particularly on the East and West coasts,” he added.
