MINNEAPOLIS-Jones Lang LaSalle has hired Jon Dahl and Brent Robertson to lead its Agency Leasing practice at its office here. Included in the hire is the contract to continue the leasing of two buildings totaling two million square feet.
Dahl previously was VP of office leasing for the local office of Brookfield Properties Corp. As one of his duties, he oversaw leasing for the 50-story 33 S. Sixth St. and the 40-story RBC Plaza. He brought the portfolio with him in the job move.
The properties are about 98% leased, Dahl tells GlobeSt.com. “I think the Minneapolis market is doing pretty well, it’s showed some signs of strengthening in the past couple quarters and unemployment is down,” he says.
Robertson comes to JLL from the local office of NorthMarq Real Estate Services. Neither NorthMarq nor Brookfield returned queries for comment about the moves.
The two were hired to start the team, and Dahl says they will be adding more listings and hiring more people. This office has traditionally provided tenant representation and corporate services. In December, the office hired Chris Hickok was hired to establish an industrial services practice.
