
NEW YORK CITY-John Catsimatidis' Red Apple Real Estate is quietly pitching for a big condo complex in Coney Island along the boardwalk. The site was rezoned in 2005 to hold two buildings with 300 apartments.
But now Catsimatidis is looking to adjust the zoning to build Dattner Architects-designed structures ranging from 14 to 22 stories comprising 400 units along Surf Avenue. With his new approach, Catsimatidis could win approvals for the development.For the full story, go to New York Observer.
