TUSTIN, CA-The city of Tustin is planning to market pieces of Tustin Legacy this summer to developers in order to encourage interest at the stalled project. The city may sell more than 110 acres of the old Marine helicopter base, an 820-acre parcel, in four or more chunks.
The city may start construction of single-family homes, apartments, retail space and office in two or three years. The project will include about 6.7 million square feet of commercial space and 2,100 homes. For the full story, go to Orange County Business Journal.
