JACKSONVILLE, FL-Memphis-based Mid-America Apartment Communities Inc., dba MAA, is continuing its acquisition of multifamily properties all over the Sunbelt region. The company has recently purchased two apartment communities in Florida.
MAA has purchased Atlantic Crossing, a 200-unit community in the submarket of St. John's Town Center and Deerwood Office Park in Jacksonville, and The Retreat at Magnolia Parke Apartments, a 204-unit development in the Magnolia Parke submarket in Gainesville, for a total amount of $42.8 million.For the full story, go to Memphis Business Journal.
