NEW YORK CITY-Fixed mortgage rates have plunged again for the third consecutive week. Freddie Mac has said that the average value for 30-year fixed mortgages dipped from 4.78% to 4.71% this week.
The average value for 15-year fixed loans fell from 3.97% to 3.89%. Mortgage rates have dropped this week following lower yields on the 10-year treasury bonds. The average value for on-year adjustable-rate loans dropped from 3.15% to 3.14%. For the full story, go to San Francisco Chronicle.
