KANSAS CITY, MO-Burns & McDonnell is planning to spend $20 million to refurbish and enlarge its world headquarters in south Kansas City. The engineering firm planned to lease 217,000 square feet of space at 9400 Ward Parkway to extend its office space at 9300 Ward Parkway.
