ONTARIO, CA-Argent Realty Advisors of Mission Viejo has expanded its Inland Empire presence with the hiring of Thomas Tway as a new associate director. Tway will focus on the Inland Empire and the San Gabriel Valley but will also continue to work on assignments in Orange and L.A. County as well, according to Argent founder Terry Bortnick.

Tway will handle leasing transactions representing landlords and tenants for Argent, which has closed 41 deals totaling over 218,000 sf in the Inland Empire in recent months, Bortnick said. The new Argent associate director most recently was a senior associate with NAI Capital in NAI's Newport Beach office. Before that, he served for Investment Concepts in Orange, CA. He was responsible for directing the leasing for a 250,000-square-foot community shopping center in Portland, OR as well as a portfolio of 15 shopping centers in California. Before that he was with the Coreland Cos. in Tustin and REP Commercial in Irvine.

Bortnick said that with Tway, "We add another member who has worked not only as a broker, but as a landlord as well." This experience enables Argent "to understand lease transactions from a principal’s viewpoint," Bortnick said.
