ALISO VIEJO, CA-The U.S. Postal Service is selling 25 acres of commercially-zoned land in Aliso Viejo, Orange County. The undeveloped site is situated on Liberty.
USPS purchased the property in 1991 for an amount of $14.8 million, including a $2.2-million development fee for local facilities and city roads in Aliso Viejo. The post office planned to construct a mail processing facility on the site, but dropped the project in 2009. Financial challenges have made the city to sell the property. For the full story, go to Orange County Register.
