ALEXANDRIA, VA-Route 66 Ventures has purchased an office and retail portfolio measuring 50,000 square feet in Old Town Alexandria from Grosvenor for $23 million. The portfolio occupies a part of the 100 block of South Union and King streets.

The office and the retail properties total 22,300 square feet and 22,500 square feet, respectively. Stephen Beggs and Caulley Deringer of Transwestern represented Route 66 Ventures, while Paul Hanafin with West, Lane and Schlager represented Grosvenor in the deal.
