BINGHAMTON, NY-The Nigro Cos. of Albany, New York, will startconstruction on a new Price Chopper grocery store in Binghamton.The new supermarket, measuring 52,000 square feet, will replace theold Price Chopper in the shopping plaza.
The name of the shopping center will be changed into PriceChopper Plaza. Nigro Cos. purchased the retail center last year andnow the developer is spending nearly $15 million on renovations.The new Price Chopper will be opened in February. For the fullstory, go to The Business Review .
