BINGHAMTON, NY-The Nigro Cos. of Albany, New York, will start construction on a new Price Chopper grocery store in Binghamton. The new supermarket, measuring 52,000 square feet, will replace the old Price Chopper in the shopping plaza.
The name of the shopping center will be changed into Price Chopper Plaza. Nigro Cos. purchased the retail center last year and now the developer is spending nearly $15 million on renovations. The new Price Chopper will be opened in February. For the full story, go to The Business Review .
