POMPANO BEACH, FL-Miami Lakes-based BankUnited has agreed to lease a site measuring 21,758 square feet at 3551 N. Powerline Road located south of West Sample Road in Pompano Beach. The bank will replace a gas station on the site with its office.
The site is owned by Coral Gables-based Caval Commercial Development. BankUnited has plans to construct an office with a drive-through. It is planning to open branches in Orlando, Miami and Tampa. For the full story, go to South Florida Business Journal .
