
NEW YORK CITY-Arlington, Virginia-based Gibbs & Cox Inc. is expanding its space from 5,200 square feet to 9,200 square feet at 485 Seventh Ave. The 16-story, 240,000-square-foot building is owned by Gedula 26.
Gibbs & Cox will occupy the sixth floor of the Seventh Ave. building. Asking rent was $35-$38 per square foot. In the lease transaction, the tenant was represented by Dennis Karr of Newmark Knight Frank, and the landlord was represented by Elliott Aharonoff with Eretz Group.
