SOMERSET, NJ-Galaxy Systems has renewed and expanded its corporate headquarters space at 2 Executive Drive here, taking 51,000 square feet at Somerset Executive Square. Galaxy, which delivers high quality contract and permanent IT staff augmentation services for both consulting and project-based engagements, has signed through 2020, says Denholtz Associates, the owner/manager of the three-building, 250,000-square-foot office complex.
"As our organization continues its growth, Somerset Executive Square will be providing us with continuity of infrastructure, location and services to accommodate our expansion and, importantly, our clients," said Steve Weiss, CFO of Galaxy Systems in a statement. "We look forward to expanding upon our longtime association with Denholtz Associates."
The asking rent for 2 Executive Drive is $17.50 per square foot, according to various web sites. Other buildings in the area are asking from $6 per square foot to $20 per square foot, according to LoopNet. Galaxy was represented by Michael Morris and Rich Madison of Newmark Knight Frank in the transaction.
Somerset Executive Square is located near the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike. "We are pleased that Galaxy Systems will remain on the tenant roster at Somerset Executive Square until 2020 and that the complex continues to meet their requirements," says Steven Geltzeiler, director of leasing of Denholtz Associates, in a statement. "It has been gratifying to watch this highly regarded and valuable tenant flourish in this location and we look forward to growing our relationship with them in the future."
