MIAMI-The structural foundation of the Miami Art Museum in Downtown Miami’s Museum Park is complete, marking the last major milestone before vertical construction begins. The new Miami Art Museum is scheduled to open to the public in 2013.
The new Miami Art Museum will offer 200,000 square feet of programmable space, including 120,000 square feet of interior space—more than three times the size of the Museum’s current facility—and 80,000 square feet of exterior space for displaying works of art, educational activities, relaxation and dining.
