
SEATTLE-Kauri Investments, a developer based in Seattle, has filed preparatory paperwork with the city to construct a seven-story apartment building and hotel on the other side of the street from the Space Needle. The developer has plans for nearly 118 rooms on four floors and nearly 56 apartment units on the upper two floors.
Kauri hopes to start construction in early 2013. The Queen Anne/Magnolia Design Review Board of the city will consider the project on October 5. For the full story, go to Seattle Times .
