DEERFIELD, IL-After a year-long postponement, the new warehouse-size Wonder! children’s store is opening here in a former Great Indoors big box. The concept, being launched by former executives with Toys R Us, Walmart, Amazon and Best Buy, is expected to open Oct. 14.
The 135,000-square-foot store is designed to offer products (clothing, shoes, toys, etc.) for children from birth to 8 years old. The company claims it will have the most children’s products for sale under one roof, with offerings such as 100 varieties of baby strollers, for example.
