WASHINGTON, DC-Local industry veteran Kathleen Allgier has been tapped by CB Richard Ellis to lead its asset services in the Washington/Baltimore region. She is joining the firm as managing director of the division.

The company recruited her to help grow its portfolio of 33.2 million square feet of office, industrial and retail assets, says John Germano, executive managing director for CBRE in the region, in a prepared statement, citing her “management skills and the horsepower and experience.” CBRE was unable to provide an interview to GlobeSt.com in time for publication.

Allgier’s background includes asset management, property management, project management, business operations and organizational development. She joins CBRE from Jones Lang LaSalle, where she led that firm’s Mid-Atlantic Property Management Group. At JLL, she managed 23 million square feet of assets. Before joining JLL, she was a partner with Spaulding & Slye Colliers.
