NEW YORK CITY-Swiss Post Solutions, a provider of business process management services, has signed on for 10,750 square feet at 31-00 47th Ave. in Long Island City. The space will be used for a new line of business for the company, a spokesman tells GlobeSt.com.
“The facility is going to be used as a document processing center,” the spokesman says. “Any kind of document that a company can use could be digitized there. The idea is to digitize information and make it easier for companies to use.”
An entity formed by Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates—Ianvil Holdings LLC—bought the property, known as the Falchi Building, in 2005 for a little over $60 million, KDA VP Josh Dolgin tells GlobeSt.com. Since then, it has undergone substantial upgrades during a multi-million dollar capital campaign.
“We’ve completely redone the front of the building, including new entrances, ramps, stairs and outdoor patio and storefronts,” Dolgin says. “We also modernized and redid the passenger elevators and cabs.”
Other tenants in the 632,000 square foot building include Tourneau Corner, Doll House and New York Weill Cornell. Dolgin adds that the building is 96% leased.
