MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA-Equity Office has executed along term lease with Symantec Corp. to occupy afull building of 135,000 square feet at Mountain View GatewayCenter, at 500 E. Middlefield Rd. here. The technology giant isexpected to take occupancy sometime in the second quarter 2012.

Symantec already leases the adjacent building at Mountain ViewGateway Center, a four-story, class-A office/R&D buildingtotaling 101,000 square feet, which Equity Office leased toSymantec a year ago. Equity Office could not provide furtherlease terms to GlobeSt.com at this time.

“Symantec is a great company to work with,” says JohnMoe, market managing director of Equity Office. “They havebeen long-term customers and we are pleased that we were able toexpand them within Mountain View Gateway Center and the EquityOffice portfolio.”
