FORT LAUDERDALE, FL-Sergio Rok and Jimmy Tate have bought Riverstone Shoppes in Parkland at more than 50% discount. The shopping center, which was sold at an online auction, was as part of $2 billion in distressed properties in the Southeast.
Tate and Rok paid nearly $5.5 million for the 64,153-square-foot retail center situated at 7299 N. State Road 7. They joined with Jorge Perez to purchase portion of the debt on downtown Miami's Omni Center for more than $100 million. For the full story, go to South Florida Business Journal .
