NEW YORK CITY-Sule Aygoren Carranza, editor in chief of Real Estate Forum, will be joining a panel of female journalists on Nov. 9 as the New York chapter of the Mortgage Bankers Association presents Meet the Press. The event will be held at 5:30pm at the offices of First American Title Insurance Co. on 633 Third Ave.
The event is expected to be wide-ranging in scope, covering the convergence of digital and print, future directions in media and building working relationships between real estate professionals and the working press. Aygoren’s appearance at the event marks the latest in a series of public appearances before industry associations the editors of ALM”s Real Estate Media Group—men and women alike--have been making recently. She just returned from NAIOP’s annual conference in Phoenix, where she moderated a panel entitled CEO Insight. In addition, content director John Salustri, recently keynoted the annual fall conference of SIOR in Chicago.
The other women on the upcoming MBA panel will be: Theresa Agovino, senior reporter, Real Estate, Crain’s New York Business; Linda Barr O’Flanagan, editor, Real Estate Weekly; Amanda Marsh, deputy national real estate editor, Bisnow and Lois Weiss, commercial real estate columnist, The New York Post.
