
FORT WORTH-Memphis-based Education Realty Trust Inc. has bought GrandMarc at Westberry Place, the Texas Christian University student housing community situated on the university campus in Fort Worth, for $54.7 million. The company acquired the property with a $37.1-million mortgage and cash.
The 644-bed collegiate housing community also contains 30,000 square feet of retail space. The transaction is expected to close in mid-November. Education Realty Trust also recently purchased an asset at the University of Notre Dame. For the full story, go to Dallas Business Journal .
