BOSTON-A privately owned firm based in Chicago has paid $55 million for Oak Point, a manufactured seniors home community at 200 Oak Point Dr. in Middleborough, Massachusetts. The property was sold by a partnership between a real estate developer and a Connecticut-based real estate investment fund.

The community, constructed in 1998, contains 870 homes for older people aged 55 and above. Marcus & Millichap negotiated the deal on behalf of the seller. For the full story, go to Commercial Property Executive .
