ATLANTA-An associate of Tampa-based Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT Inc. has signed a deal to purchase portion of the former Macy's building in downtown Atlanta for $94.7 million. The property, called 180 Peachtree, is being sold by Peachtree Carnegie LLC.
The data center, which measures 338,000 square feet, is let to six tenants, including Level 3 Communications, the city of Atlanta's 911 center operations and Switch and Data. The deal is scheduled to closed on January 3. For the full story, go to Tampa Bay Business Journal .
