Stag Industrial Buys OPW Property in Smithfield

SMITHFIELD, NC-Stag Industrial, a Boston-based real estate investment firm, has purchased the OPW Fueling Containment Systems property at 3250 US Highway 70 West in Smithfield for $8.1 million.

SMITHFIELD, NC-Stag Industrial, a Boston-based real estate investment firm, has purchased the OPW Fueling Containment Systems property at 3250 US Highway 70 West in Smithfield for $8.1 million. OPW has been using the 191,450-square-foot facility as a warehouse and distribution center since 2001.

The seller of the building was not identified, however, Johnston County deed records showed that Raleigh-based companies Oak Knoll LP and RET Properties LLC sold the facility to STAG Smithfield LLC. For the full story, go to Triangle Business Journal .
