LONDON-Legal & General Property (LGP) has purchased a Wilkinson- and BHS-anchored shopping center in Essex. The company has bought The Meadows Shopping Centre in Chelmsford for GBP 56.1 million on behalf of its UK Property Income Fund.
The property was sold by Lend Lease. The covered retail center, situated in the middle of Chelmsford, comprises approximately 150,000 square feet of retail space and 730 parking spaces. It accommodates 39 retail units and a restaurant quarter. For the full story, go to PropertyMall .
