CHICAGO-Centrum Properties Inc., a developer based in Chicago, has reached an agreement to purchase West Town Center, an office and retail complex spanning 315,400 square feet at the corner of Milwaukee and Ashland avenues in Wicker Park. Bank of America Corp. recently snagged the complex from Joseph Freed & Associates LLC.
Centrum is partnering with Angelo Gordon & Co. to complete the deal. The purchase price was not disclosed, but one person approximated the value at $33 million to $35 million. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
