CHICAGO-A former River North art supply store, which is currently leased to Wal-Mart Stores Inc., has changed hands for $5.3 million. Joshua Mintzer of Saxony Capital LLC bought the closed Pearl art supplies shop at 225 W. Chicago Ave. in June 2010 for $2.45 million.

The Bentonville, Arkansas-based retail giant has leased the 14,300-square-foot store for 10 years. David Lowenstein, a real estate investor from New Jersey, has bought the store for approximately $370 per square foot. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
