ROLLING MEADOWS, IL-An affiliate of Weifang, China-based Weichai Power Co. Ltd., has recently purchased a vacant office building in Rolling Meadows for $5.8 million. The 170,000-square-foot property, which was formerly occupied by Unilever PLC, is located at 3100 Golf Road.
The sales price equates to nearly $34 per square foot. Weichai Power Mat Automotive Inc., the Weichai subsidiary, is planning to use the building as research and development facility.
