AUSTIN, TX-American Campus Communities Inc., a residential developer and manager based in Austin, has acquired an apartment complex in Austin and a property in Maryland for a combined $208 million. The developer has paid $86.2 million for the 26 West Apartments complex in Austin's West Campus neighborhood and $121.5 million for a 79.5% stake in The Varsity in College Park, Maryland.
