COLLEGE PARK, MD-Austin, Texas-based American Campus Communities has assumed control over a student housing property in College Park. The Varsity apartment complex is a $121.5-million private housing property built for the students of University of Maryland.
American Campus acquired a 79.5% stake in the entity that holds the mixed-use complex for $96.6 million. The Varsity is a new student housing project completed last year by Campus Suites and Potomac Holdings Development. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
