
CHEVY CHASE, MD-The TIAA-CREF has paid $113.25 million for the Shops at Wisconsin Place, an 118,400-square-foot shopping center situated beside the Friendship Heights Metro station. The New York-based association has bought the retail center from Newton, Massachusetts-based New England Development.
The sales price breaks down to approximately $957 per square foot. The property was originally developed by New England Development, Boston Properties and Archstone.
