
ATLANTA-Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has acquired the old Vine City Publix property at Historic Westside Village with plans to open a new store there. According to the Georgia Superior Court records, the discount retailer has bought the property for $4.25 million.
The Historic Westside Village Walmart, which measures 70,000 square feet to 80,000 square feet, is the second Atlanta store for Walmart.
