
LONDON-The Crown Estate has sold 88 St James's Street in London to The Carlyle Group, a global alternative investment manager, for GBP 36.5 million. Carlyle, which bought the assets through its third European fund CEREP III, has plans for a new residential development.
The property currently contains 14,000 square feet of commercial space and 11 residential apartments. Knight Frank and Burgess Salmon advised The Crown Estate, while Strutt & Parker and Berwin Leighton Paisner advised Carlyle in the deal. For the full story, go to PropertyMall .
