LONDON-The Carlyle Group has purchased three sites in London for GBP 46 million with plans to construct student apartments there. The development parcels include, Hammersmith Palais, a property on Goswell Road in Islington and a site on Ewer Street in Southwark.

The company acquired the sites through its joint venture partnership with Generation Estates. The three new student housing projects will provide approximately 1,400 beds in total and they are expected to be ready for occupation during 2013 and 2014. For the full story, go to PropertyMall .
