MEMPHIS-Varma Family LP has paid $2.6 million for the former Cleo Inc. facility in Southeast Memphis. An entity of New York-based WP Cary & Co. LLC, Corporate Property Associates 4, was the seller of the 1-million-square-foot building.
Cleo, a subsidiary of CSS Industries Inc., closed the building in December. The 38.8-acre property contains two connected structures at 4025 and 4063 Viscount. Rasberry CRE's Jimmy Lewis represented the buyer and Cushman & Wakefield Commercial Advisors' Dave Curran represented the seller in the deal. For the full story, go to Memphis Business Journal .
